Key Stage 2
Key Stage 2 (KS2) is a phase of primary school in England and Wales for children in years 3–6, who are typically aged 7–11. It is a vital part of a child's education, covering a wide range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, IPC, Computing, Art and Design Technology, Music, Physical Education (PE) and Religious Education (RE). Our trips, experiences and residential trips are planned to provide progression and challenge for each year group and support the taught curriculum. Children in Key Stage 2 have an opportunity to showcase their talent through the school productions, musical soirees or sporting events. In the final year of primary school, teachers focus on ensuring that children understand everything they have learned in previous years. Children take their KS2 SATs tests at the end of Year 6.
