Art and Design Technology

Langley Hall Primary Academy’s Art curriculum is designed to integrate art with other subjects, including IPC, History, Science, and Geography, providing pupils with a multidisciplinary approach to learning. With a team of three dedicated faculty members, we strive to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of our Pupils.

Pupils at Langley Hall Primary Academy receive 45 minutes of art instruction per week, allowing them to delve into various art techniques and skills. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. Through hands-on projects and engaging lessons, Pupils explore different art forms and develop their artistic abilities.

To support their artistic endeavours, we are proud to offer two well-equipped art studios, providing students with ample space to unleash their creativity. Our studios are equipped with a wide range of art materials, allowing students to experiment with different mediums and materials. Whether it's painting, drawing, sculpting, or working with digital art, our students have the opportunity to explore and refine their artistic techniques.

By linking our art curriculum with other subjects, we create meaningful connections between different disciplines. Children have the opportunity to apply their artistic skills and knowledge in projects related to IPC, History, Science, and Geography.
